JINGLE BELLS
Our children from Primary 2nd sang the Christmas Carol 'Jingle Bells' to their youngest mates last Thursday.
They had fun showing the little ones how they could sing in English!!

Thanksgiving is a traditional festival in the United States and Canada.
In the United States it is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November, whereas in Canada it is celebrated on the second Monday of October.

In Primary the 2nd we have been talking about Guy Fawkes, the man who tried to kill
the english King James I in 1605.

Cambridge Awards
Congratulations to all our pupils
who got their Award on the Cambridge Tests that took place in our school last May
and the ones who attended KET and PET exams last June.
We celebrated a brief ceremony at school
as a FAMILY,
where everybody was quite proud of the good results.

English and Computers
Our Primary students ( grade 3 to 6 ) went to the computer room last week.
They were quite nervous and excited. They had to pay attention not only to the exercises but also to the keyboard, the mouse, the earphones...
Computer skills and English went hand in hand when doing all these exercises in Moodle.
Cambridge Tests 2014
Our students did their Cambridge Tests this morning. It's the second year that our school holds this kind of test.
They were were quite nervous, but at the end they felt proud of themselves.

Cambridge Tests
Las pruebas de Cambridge YLE tendrán lugar el próximo viernes 23 de mayo.
Los alumnos deben de ser muy puntuales ya que las primeras pruebas empezarán a las 10.00 h. con el siguiente orden:
Flyers: Speaking - Reading and Writing - Listening
Starters: Listening - Speaking - Reading and Writing
Movers: Listening - Speaking - Reading and Writing
Los candidatos deben llevar lápiz, goma, afila, bolígrafo y ceras de los siguientes colores: negro, azul, verde, marrón, gris, naranja, rosa, lila, rojo y amarillo. No se permiten diccionarios ni otro material de estudio.
Es importante que los candidatos comprueben que sus materiales estén afilados para evitar pérdidas de tiempo innecesarias.
Os recordamos la duración de cada una de las pruebas:
STARTERS MOVERS FLYERS
Reading and Writing 20 min. 30 min. 40 min.
Listening 20 min. 25 min. 25 min.
Speaking 3 - 5 min. aprox. 5 - 7 min. aprox. 7 - 9 min. aprox.
